Action: Move a body part in a smooth and rhythmic motion.

Technique:

Arm Swing

  • Hold arms to the side.
  • Move one or both arms backward and forward in a smooth motion.
  • You can also allow arms to turn in a full circle.

Leg Swing

  • Balance on one foot.
  • Allow the other foot to move forward and backward in a smooth motion.
  • You can hold onto something to steady yourself if you need to.

Skill Activities:

  • Swing body parts slowly or as fast as you can.
  • Swing body parts to the beat of drum or a song.
