Twisting

Action: Rotate or turn a body part.

Technique:

  • Stand with feet shoulder-width apart.
  • Hold your hands out to the side or on the hips.
  • Twist at the waist by moving the upper body from side to side without moving your feet.
  • Twist your neck by turning your head from side to side.
  • Twist your ankles by balancing on one foot and turning your toes from one side to the other.

  • Combine balancing and twisting body.
  • Twist hand, arm, foot, leg.
  • Twist more than one body part at the same time.
