Our first stop is the third Monday in January. This is the day that we celebrate a very important person named Martin Luther King Jr. He spent his whole life traveling the country talking about the need to have a world where all people are treated with kindness and respect. He believed that in order to really know about someone's kindness, you have to actually be with them, talk with them, and even play with them. Martin made a difference in the lives of many people in the United States, and this is why we celebrate this holiday.
