Web Reports
Use the World Wide Web to make a great Food Web Report!
Goal:
Goal:
Activity
- Pick one of the following ecosystems: marine ecosystem, desert ecosystem, river ecosystem, or polar ecosystem.
- Create a food web that shows between eight and ten plants and animals in your ecosystem. Include producers, primary consumers, secondary consumers, and a top predator.
- Show how the various organisms are connected by what they eat. Remember, arrows point from what an animal eats to the animal that eats it. So, an arrow would point up from grass to a grasshopper, and so on. Be sure to include multiple organisms that show multiple arrows. In other words, several organisms should eat the grass, and several organisms should eat those organisms.
- Use some form of technology to make your food web. Add drawings or photos that relate to your ecosystem. Be creative, and have some fun!
- Before you begin, click the Rubric button to look and make sure you understand how to create an excellent presentation.
- Name your presentation after the ecosystem you are presenting, such as "Desert Ecosystem Food Web."
- Submit your presentation to your teacher.
