- Explain how even small changes in an environment can have a big impact on the organisms that live there.

- pen or pencil
- 200 of one color plastic building brick or block (optional)
- 20 of another color of block (optional)
- 2 of a third color of block (optional)
- 1 of a fourth color of block (optional)

Looking for Connections
All living things are connected in some way.
Goal:
Goal:
You can get a better sense of how things are interconnected by taking a look around. Go outside and pay attention to the various organisms living together in one place. You’ll see birds, squirrels, insects, and lots of plants! How are they all connected?
Try It!
Grab an adult and go have a picnic in a park. Be still and pay very close attention to your surroundings. Write down all the living things you see and the way they interact.
