- Identify how to warm up and cool down.
- Recognize the importance of warming up and cooling down.
- Practice rolling, throwing, and catching skills.

Overhand Throw - One Hand
Goal:
Goal:

Technique:
- Hold the ball in your dominant hand.
- Raise your arm up in a "Muscle Man" position.
- Step toward your target with foot opposite of the throwing arm.
- Keep your elbow above your shoulder as you throw the ball.
- Snap your wrist and follow through with your arm across the body.

Skill Activities:
- See how far you can throw a ball overhand.
- Throw a ball and try to hit a target.
- Throw the ball as high as you can.
- Throw the ball in the air, and try the following activities before the ball hits the ground. You could also try to catch the ball after doing one of these activities:
- clap your hands
- touch the floor
- sit down on the floor
- throw ball to another place and move to catch the ball (run, hop, skip, slide)
