Once you've looked at the pros and cons of all the options, what should you do next?

Any of the options presented for this problem could be chosen. Each has its own set of advantages and disadvantages. But some options may be better than others; it all depends on the family, their willingness to learn a new language, and the amount of support they have. The goal is to learn English, and with practice, support, and time, that goal can be achieved.
Once you decide on an option that you think is the best solution to your problem, you can begin to implement, or put in place, the new solution.
If Carmen's family chose option 4, they would get a tutor or translator to help them learn English. Having a friend there as support along the way might provide even more help as the family learns a new language.
