Can you narrow it down to four images?

Remember: once you have completed a proposal worksheet for each of the topics covered this semester, you will use those worksheets to prepare a proposal for the magazine cover.

Here are some things to remember:

Only four images will be featured on the cover. You and the editors of the magazine are considering nine topics, so as you review the proposal organizers, you'll need to narrow them down to four topics.

You may want to include text on your cover. If you decide to include text, you could still include all nine topics covered in this lesson, but you'll still only include four images. Try not to use too much text. You don't want to be too wordy on the cover of a magazine. Save the text for the articles. Use just enough on the cover to grab readers and make them want to buy the magazine so they can read about all these interesting topics.

Use an outline to prepare your proposal. Click the Activity button to access and print the Proposal Outline worksheet. At the end of the lesson, you will submit the worksheet to your teacher for a grade.
