There were many alliances formed between Native Americans and the colonists. Sometimes these alliances were for purposes of greater protection. Give an example from your own life, or the life of someone you know, where you or somebody else formed a clique or group in order to feel safe. If you have not experienced this, imagine a situation in which you might.

You will submit your journal at the end of the lesson. Make sure to keep your journal current and ready to turn in when prompted. Your journal will be graded using the rubric below.
