Objectives
Students will:
- Identify the themes addressed in a work of literature.
- Identify reasons and evidence to support a claim about a novel's theme.
- Generate ideas about possible themes in a novel, written as claims.
- Write a paragraph that introduces a theme and presents reasons and/or evidence that illustrate the theme.
