The sentences you wrote for the activity on the previous page should help you build a strong argument for your ideas about a theme in The Giver. Revise the questions and answers that you pasted into your journal file so that they read as one paragraph.

First, delete the questions from what you copied and pasted and make sure your answers form one paragraph. Then, edit the sentences so that they flow together more smoothly.

When you have written a complete and detailed answer to the journal prompt, save the file so that you can open it again for the next lesson with a journal assignment. (You will submit your journal to your teacher for grading once or twice during the module.)
