For this assignment, you will create a gallery of 3-5 images that all belong together in a category. Some examples include "Large Cats," "Sports Venues," or "Constellations."

Collect images from the internet so that at least one image falls under a Creative Commons license and at least one image belongs in the public domain. For any of your images that have a Creative Commons license, be sure to abide by the reserved rights indicated by the image's source page. Copy the URLs of the webpages where you got each image and add these URLs to your worksheet.

Place your images into a webpage and include a header that displays your category at the top of the page. Use attributes to make your images the same height—but make sure not to display your images out of proportion from the original files.

When you are finished, upload your HTML file and images to your GitHub repository and add your HTML file's URL to your worksheet. Once your gallery is finished and uploaded and your worksheet is complete, submit the worksheet to your teacher.

You will be graded using the following rubric:

Category
  • Images selected had a specific category in common.
License
  • Images selected fell under the Creative Commons license or were a part of the public domain. At least one of each was used.
  • License requirements were adhered to.
Images
  • Images were displayed on a live webpage.
  • Attributes were used to make images the same height and proportional.
Worksheet
  • Worksheet was complete.
