Polar habitats are the coldest places on Earth. They are covered in ice and snow. The animals that live there stay warm by having thick layers of blubber.

There are many types of forests around the world. This is a picture of a rainforest. It gets more rain than anywhere else. Many different types of plants, animals, and insects live here

Many deserts have a lot of sand and very little water. It can be very hot during the day and cooler at night. Many animals are more active at night.
