The next several pages of this lesson will help you investigate career pathways. Each of the following pages is titled with the name of a Career Cluster. The Cluster page lists the pathways that form that Cluster as well as links to more information and specific careers within that pathway. 

For each of your top three Career Clusters, you will choose a pathway of interest and then identify two careers of possible interest from within that pathway. It is very important that you be thoughtful and intentional about your choices. You will build your final career plan upon one of these careers.  

Each of the sixteen pages in the next section of this lesson lists one Career Cluster and the pathways within that Cluster. You will only go to the three pages for the top three Career Clusters you identified in your survey.

3.3 Career Pathways Selection Form

Go directly to the three pages in this lesson that represent your top Clusters. Follow the instructions on each page to read about different pathways.  From the Cluster page, you will link to O*NET to see your career options in your chosen pathway. When you find one you like, write it down. At the end of this lesson, you will submit the two careers from each pathway that you would like to explore further. These are the careers you will research in the next lesson. Later, you will choose one of the careers you research for your final career plan. 

On your 3.3 Career Pathways Selection Form, write each Cluster you have chosen.  Underneath the Cluster name, write the name of the pathway you have chosen from within that Cluster.  In the spaces to each side of the Pathway, write the careers within that Pathway that you have chosen to investigate.   Click here to access your 3.3 Career Pathways Selection Form.
