If you were looking for a home in a new city, you would look at the different neighborhoods. You would learn more about them, choose a few to research well, match each against your likes and dislikes, and make a decision that works for you. You have a similar challenge as you begin to research careers. You are starting with a birds' eye view of your chosen Career Clusters, and must determine which one will become the focus of your career planning. You will:
- Consider the career options within your favorite Cluster
- Narrow those options to a few
- Research those few options
That process may sound easy, but with dozens and perhaps hundreds of careers in a given Cluster, choosing can be a big challenge. You need a plan.
