  7. Examine the roles of women in the war.
  8. Tell about the daily lives of Civil War soldiers.
  9. Contrast the economic effects of the war as felt by the North and South.
  10. Note the battles that turned the tide of the war in 1863 and the events leading to surrender in 1865.
