Objectives
Students will:
- Examine the relationships between Truman, Attlee, and Stalin.
- Describe the terms agreed upon by the 3 leaders at the Potsdam Conference.
- Discuss the development of the United Nations as a replacement for the League of Nations.
- Explain the division of Germany post World War II.

- Outline the events that led to England's declaration of war on Germany.
- Describe the creation of the Axis powers and Allied forces and name the countries included in each.
- Explain what happened on December 7, 1941, and the U.S.'s response.
- Analyze diplomatic relationships between the U.S. and its allies.
