Like Andrew, you may find that your perfect plan does not always work.   Sometimes, your schedule will break down simply because you have been distracted or allowed yourself to procrastinate.  Other times, it may break down because of events entirely outside of your control.   Whatever the cause, when something interferes with your schedule, it can be very stressful.

By avoiding distractions and choosing to not procrastinate, you will immediately eliminate many sources of stress. At the same time, you must be prepared to re-evaluate your priorities and adapt your schedule when necessary. When problems occur, your detailed list of priorities will help you make changes necessary to adjust your schedule, adapt your plans, and reduce stress by giving you a clear understanding of your needs and your options.

Your well-planned daily, weekly, and monthly schedules will be done in enough detail that they can withstand the pressure of a few unexpected events.  By expecting the unexpected and taking the needed actions when distractions come, you are ready to stay on track to achieving your goals.
