Objectives
Students will:
- Draft a one-act stage play or half-hour screenplay.
- Revise a stage play or screenplay script to enhance characterization and improve the play’s overall effect, adding dialogue and stage directions as needed.

- Distinguish between a stage play and a screenplay, in terms of formatting and narrative structure.
- Describe how a short play or screenplay develops characters, a plot, and themes.
