How to make a Canaanite cult mask.

Complete the following art project of a Canaanite cult mask. Have fun!
Directions for cult mask:
1. On the cardboard, draw an oval the approximate size of your child’s head. Draw in eyes and mouth. Use the scissors to cut out the shape.
2. Knead the clay with your hands to soften it. Mold it into the shape of a mask, using the cardboard cutout as a model. Add eyes, cheeks, nose, and mouth. Poke holes on the left and right sides for the sting. Poke holes for the eyes, a mouth, and if needed, for the nose.
3. When you have the shape and size that you want, allow the clay to air dry overnight or longer.
4. When the mask is hard you can make a cool design on it with paints, colored pencils, or crayons.
