Goal: Practice measuring using a ruler and meter stick.

Let’s work on measuring in centimeters and meters. You will need some modeling clay, a ruler, and a meter stick.

Roll out the modeling clay like a long snake.

Lay it down next to the ruler. Make sure one end of the modeling clay lines up with 0 cm on the ruler.

Break off the clay so that the end lines up with 10 cm on the ruler.
