West North Central Region Journal

Now it is your turn to do some research on the states you have learned about in this lesson.

Think about what interests you most about the states that we have visited. Click the Activity button to access and print the West North Central Region Journal Organizer. Use this Journal Organizer to answer the following questions.

List each of the 50 states and their state capitals. (NOTE: You can use the Internet to answer this question.)
Write a paragraph describing the climate of the West North Central Region. Choose one place that particularly interested you.
Write a short imaginary letter to someone describing your visit to this place.
Write half a page or more of notes on what interested you about the West North Central Region. Which places would you like to visit in person? Which places will you include in your own “trip” at the end of this course? You can list places we visited in this lesson, or places we were not able to include on our tour.

You will submit your journal at the end of each module. Make sure you keep the journal up-to-date and ready to turn in when prompted. Your journal will be graded using the rubric below.
