There are many shapes to find in a bakery. Do you know what shapes are made of? Sides and vertices! A vertex is where two lines meet, or a corner. Vertices means having more than one corner.
Look at the triangle. The red dot is placed on one vertex of the triangle.
The 3 red dots show each vertex of the triangle. There are 3 vertices.
Shapes are also made of angles! Angles are where 2 lines come together to form a corner as shown below on the triangle. An angle is shown on a shape with this symbol . A triangle has 3 angles. Let’s count them! Click on the triangle below.
