One day, they bump into each other, face to face.
Neither of them will move out of the way.
Because they are both stubborn, they do not move forward at all - they just stop walking!
And they stand there.
And keep standing there.
And stand there some more.
Eventually, the world around them grows.
But they stay right where they were when they refused to give in.
