How would you describe “Steeled” to someone who is unfamiliar with the story?

When you decide to read a book or watch a movie, how do you decide which one to choose? Bookstores, libraries, and your favorite streaming services are filled with thousands of choices. In fact, it is one of the hallmarks of life in the 21st century—choice! Most of us rely on recommendations or descriptions from our friends or online reviews. It is likely that you have even provided one or two of these reviews yourself.

Being able to describe a story is an important skill. Not only does it help solidify your understanding of the story and let your teacher know what you learned, but story reviews and summaries also help friends and classmates make choices about their reading.
