A fable is a type of folklore that is a story with animals as characters that talk. This type of folklore still has a moral and passes down traditional beliefs, customs, and stories from a community. It also has a moral or a lesson.

Chicken Little was leaving for school on a sunny morning when an acorn fell from a tree and landed on his head. Chicken little panicked and thought the sky was falling.
Chicken Little was screaming “The sky is falling!” as he ran. Henny Penny was walking to school when she heard the news. She got really scared and started to run with her friend.
Chicken Little and Henny Penny were screaming “The sky is falling!” as they ran. Turkey Lurkey was waiting for the school bus when he heard the news. He got really scared and started to run with his friends.
Chicken Little, Henny Penny, and Turkey Lurkey were screaming “The sky is falling!” as they ran. Dizzy Ducky was skateboarding to school when she heard the news. She got really scared and started to run with her friends.
Chicken Little, Henny Penny, Turkey Lurkey, and Dizzy Ducky were screaming “The sky is falling!” as they ran. Foxy Loxy was sitting outside of his cave feeling hungry when he heard the news. He wasn’t scared, but he was really hungry. He told them to run into his cave, and that is just what the friends did. “Now I’ve got you!” he said, as he slammed the door.
Stuck inside the cave, the friends realized what had started the panic. They felt silly. Chicken Little decided they needed to get out of there. Instead of feeling scared, he felt brave. All of his friends followed Chicken Little as they snuck out of the cave into the sunshine. Then, they ran off to school.
Chicken Little, Henny Penny, Turkey Lurkey, and Dizzy Ducky screamed “Life is good!” as they ran. From that day on, they did not get scared as easily. They did not panic. They knew that being brave and staying cool was way more fun.
