For this activity you will need a concave lens, a convex lens, a flashlight and a white piece of paper.
Answer the following questions
- How are the lenses shaped?
- How are the lenses alike?
- How are the lenses different?
Procedure
- Look at a piece of newspaper though the first lens. What happens to the letters on the two pages? Then look at the newspaper through the second lens and observe what happens to the letters. Next shine your flashlight through the lenses. Do you notice anything different?
