A textbook is a secondary source that uses information gathered from both primary sources and secondary sources.

Jackie Robinson is a biography about Robinson's experiences as a baseball player. It isn't a primary source because it wasn't written by Robinson himself. Instead, it was written by someone else who likely used both primary sources (Robinson) and secondary sources (other books written about this famous baseball player).
