A Day in Your Life

From the time you wake up until the time you go to bed, many people provide public services for you.

When you turn on your light, did you know there are technicians working at the electric company or when you turn on the water to brush your teeth or get a drink, there are engineers at the water treatment plant ensuring your water is clean?

Do you know there are farmers who picked your fruit and milked cows for your breakfast?

City workers built the roads your family drives on every day.

And the parks and recreation department built your neighborhood park.

You have teachers who help educate you every school day.

And the mail carrier brings your family the mail.

How about the doctor or dentist who takes care of your health?

Our U.S. military are always protecting our country, and the police and fire departments are ready to step in and help you and your family at any time.

The government is also always at work to provide services for every American and to make our country the best.

Wow! There are so many individuals who work to serve you every single day.

It’s a good day to have a good day! And be sure to tell someone thank you who serves you today!
