It is your turn to investigate the Spanish traditions and celebrations that are held in your community. Here are some ways you can investigate.
- Check the local newspapers to learn about the celebrations.
- Call Spanish-speaking organizations to ask about the celebrations in your community.
- Interview a Spanish-speaking member of your community and ask about how they celebrate Christmas.
- Check the supermarkets close to you to find any typical Christmas Spanish food, such as Roscón de Reyes, turrón or mazapán.
Once you have all your information, you will write a research paper in English. It is recommend you to try to use some Spanish and vocabulary learned in this module in your paper. Don’t forget to add all the bibliographical information about your sources!
