Goal: Identify quadrilaterals.

What makes one shape different from another? Different shapes have different attributes, or things about them that can help you identify them. For example, you can tell a shape is a square if all its sides are the same length. Having four sides of equal length is an attribute of squares.

Quadrilaterals are also two-dimensional shapes. The word quad means four, and the word lateral means side. As their name shows, quadrilaterals have 4 sides.
