How do you find the volume of a space?

Coins of different currencies in a treasure chest. Captain Blunder needs your help! He needs to determine how many gold bricks he can fit into his pirate chest. How can he do it?

Captain Blunder is looking for how much space the treasure chest can hold. This means he is trying to find the volume of the treasure chest. To find how many gold bricks can fit in his treasure chest, he can line them up along the width and length of the chest to see how they fit in the first two dimensions. To find the third dimension, height, he can stack the rows on top of each other until they reach the top of the chest.
