Objectives

Students will:

1. Define the triangular trade route and explain why the use of enslaved workers increased in the colonies.
2. Distinguish between the regions in the colonies and tell how they differed from one another.
3. Identify the people who had the right to vote in colonial legislatures.
4. Outline how European wars spread to the American colonies and identify the important people involved with those conflicts.
5. Identify the purpose of the Albany Plan of Union.
6. Contrast the lives of young people in colonial America with those of today’s youth.
