Earth is in a solar system. A solar system is made up of a sun and the objects that go around it. In our solar system, there are eight planets that go around our Sun. Most of the planets have at least one moon. In fact, we know of 146 moons in our solar system. Earth is the third-closest planet to the Sun. It is between Venus and Mars. Earth is the only planet that has living things. That is because it is the only planet that has water.
