Present Tense
A subject and verb need to be in agreement.
Singular- He laughs when I tell a joke.
Plural- They laugh when I tell a joke.
Present Tense
Some subjects always take a singular verb.
Everyone sings along to this song.
Past Tense
We do not worry about subjects with past tense action verbs.
I danced to the music.
Past Tense
The form of "to be" depends on the subject.
Singular- The monkey was at the zoo.
Plural- The monkeys were at the zoo.
Future Tense
We do not have to worry about the subject when creating future tense sentences. To make a verb future tense, we add "will" before the verb.
They will sing at the concert next week.
Future Tense
The future perfect tense tells us something will happen in the future. We add "have."
I will have read ten books by the end of summer.

Today, we are going to combine what we know about the tenses to match them in a sentence.
When you have finished reviewing, complete the worksheet and submit it to your teacher.
