Nature Close Up

Look at all the wonderful objects of nature close up.

This week you will need a magnifying glass. Crawl around in your yard, using a magnifying glass to look at all the wonderful objects of nature.

Look for caterpillars. Describe the textures (rough/smooth, hard/soft), and sizes (large/small, big/little, fat/thin, heavy/light) of the objects that you see.

Examine the bark and leaves of various trees and plants, and petals of any flowers that may still be in bloom in your area.

Draw a picture for your scrapbook.
