Objectives
Students will:
- Read a screenplay, identifying its most obvious features (both technical/visual cues and literary elements or devices).
- Analyze what makes a screenplay engaging—what keeps viewers involved and paying attention.
- Compare and contrast stage plays and screenplays as forms of drama.
Skills Needed
Students must be able to:
- Define and identify elements of plot common to nearly all plays.
- Describe the essential features of a stage play.
