Objectives

Students will:

  1. Read a screenplay, identifying its most obvious features (both technical/visual cues and literary elements or devices).
  2. Analyze what makes a screenplay engaging—what keeps viewers involved and paying attention.
  3. Compare and contrast stage plays and screenplays as forms of drama.
