Tempera or poster paints are more controllable when applied to poster board paper.Students may use watercolor paints for this project if desired. However, when watercolor is used, 90 lb. or heavier watercolor paper is necessary.
Watercolor paint should be mixed with a very small amount of water so the primary color is strong.
