Natural Landmarks and Those Made by Humans

What is the difference between something made by humans and something natural?

Let's take a tour of the United States! Click through the slideshow to explore some famous landmarks.

We will begin in California.

This is the Golden Gate Bridge. It was made by humans.

It was not there before humans built it.

These are the famous redwood trees. Wow! Those trees are so tall! This forest is natural. This means these trees grew naturally. Humans did not build the trees.

Let's go to South Dakota and see if you can figure out which landmark was made by humans and which is natural.
