If you live close to Washington, D.C., you could take a tour of the White House. If not, you can take a tour of your state capitol building. Be sure to see where the governor's office is. If your state capitol building is too far from your home, you can take a tour of your local city hall. Look for where the mayor's office is.
On the tour, listen for all of the important work that is done to serve you and your family in the government building. There are public officials working to make your life better in your city, in your state, and for the whole nation.
