Circle Shapes

Let's divide circles into smaller parts. Click the Activity button to open the Circle Template.

Cut along each line so that you have many circles to work with. Now follow the directions below.

1. Take one circle and see if you can make it (the whole) into two equal parts by folding the circle.
2. Take another circle and fold it in half twice to make one-fourths.
3. Take another circle and fold it in half three times to make one-eighths.
4. You now have three circles with folds. Repeat this again so you have two sets of circles with folds. Each set should look similar to the circles shown below.
