As we know, your opinion is the way you feel about something. This week, you will be writing an opinion paragraph. You will be sharing your personal opinion about the topic.
When we write about our opinions, we don't need to check sources and gather information. Our opinions are all ours. Your opinion might be different than someone else's, but that's what makes opinions so great. Everyone can have different ones.
Since our topic this week is freedom, we will be writing an opinion paragraph about freedom. Do you think pets should be given freedom? Should they have the ability to choose where they want to live and what they want to do each day like wild animals do? What do you think?
Start thinking about your opinion on the subject. We'll start prewriting tomorrow.
