Try this activity to make your own array. Take out 16 crayons. You will use them to make different arrays on your desk.

Start by making 2 rows. How many crayons will go in each row? Put 1 crayon at a time into each row until all of the crayons are used. Does your array look like this? The colors can be in a different order, but do you have 2 rows of 8? 
Great job! Let's make another array. This one will have 8 rows. Put 1 crayon at a time into each row until all of the crayons are used. Then, click the Answer button to see if your array is correct.
