Corey’s snowmen are different sizes. He can measure height and length with standard units of measurement. Standard units of measurement are inches, feet, and yards. We can use rulers, yardsticks, and measuring tapes to measure in inches, feet, and yards. Click the images below to see what each tool is used to measure. Rulers are made up of 12 inches.

“Inches” can also be written as “in.,” and “foot” can also be written as “ft.”
We can measure this snowman by lining up the ruler with the bottom of the snowman. The bottom should line up with 0 in. on the ruler.
