Isn't it fun to listen to someone tell a story? A good storyteller can make you feel like you are part of the action by describing sights, smells, and sounds in great detail. Now it's time for you to tell a story. Don't worry if you don't know any. You can retell a story from this social studies unit or from some other place. Don’t be afraid to embellish, or add details of your own! You don't have to recite every word of the story perfectly. Instead, try to picture the events in your mind and then describe them.
Tell stories often, over and over. Practice telling stories to your friends and family. You can even make up your own stories and share them with others!
