When you checked your story for genre elements, did you find any? If you did, consider using multimedia elements to bring out some of those elements so that readers (or listeners and viewers) notice them more. For instance, if your story's setting is far into the future, you could use other science fiction elements in the visual part of your multimedia presentation. You could have a spaceship in the background on one of your slides, perhaps.
