Roll and Build

You will need the following items:

• blank paper
• markers or crayons
• Unifix Cubes
• 4 dice

Directions:

1. Roll the 4 dice.
2. Count the number on each die, and add all 4 dice numbers together. Write the sum, or total, on the blank paper with a crayon or marker. For example, if one die has a 3, one die has a 2, one die has a 7, and one die has a 4, you would add the numbers 3, 2, 7, and 4 together to get 16. Then you would write 16 on your paper.
3. Gather the Unifix Cubes that represent the total number you rolled, and stack them on top of the number you wrote.
4. Repeat steps 1 to 3 until your whole paper is filled with numbers and towers.
