Do you have a box of cereal and a bottle of shampoo in a drawer in your bedroom? No, of course not! That is not where they belong. You sort things, or decide where they go, to put them in the right place. Where would you find a box of cereal? 
Good! The kitchen is where you eat, so that is where you'd keep the cereal. Where does the shampoo belong? Yes, it goes in the bathroom because that is where you wash your hair. Sorting objects is easy! How can you sort shapes? 
You can sort them by color, type of shape, and size. On the next page, you will decide how some shapes have been sorted. |
