Science describes what we know about our world.

Have you tried to catch a butterfly? As we get older, we explore the world around us without really thinking about it too much. But as we get older, we begin to ask questions, such as: "Why is the sky blue?" or "What's inside your eyeball?" All of this is science, and the beginning of a process called scientific inquiry.

Everyone! Anyone who asks questions about the world, experiments to get answers, and then draws conclusions based on their results is using science.
