Scientists in Action

Science is something that we all do naturally. We are all scientists!

Think about times you were acting like a scientist without even knowing it. Did you observe something, and then act upon that observation? Did you identify a problem, think about what you might do to solve it, and then try to solve it? You don't have to share dramatic examples. Just think about the simple, ordinary things you do every day that involve using scientific methods. Share your thoughts on the classroom discussion board. Take a look at your classmates' entries as well. If you had a similar experience or can think of another way a student used a scientific method in his or her example, post a friendly note about it!
